Customer Support
Before, During, and After Installation
The “Wild Card” in most projects is labor. Design, Installation, and calibration labor is difficult to estimate since each project is different and often involves unforeseen obstacles.
CTG specializes in installed audio for rooms with differing geometries and is well equipped to optimize the performance. We encourage you to use our expertise to design the appropriate layout and recommend the type of equipment. This part of the process allows us to “right size” the positioning and number of microphones for the desired coverage area. Either too many or too few microphones can be detrimental to the performance. This is a free service and will minimize the hours your staff has to expend on this phase of the project.
System Installers are urged to contact CTG support when adjusting the system to have the comfort of knowing the system is functioning optimally. CTG support is equipped with video which can add an additional dimension when aiding an installation. Frequently, when a system does not function as expected, it is due to poor or incorrect connections between components of a system and/or faulty cables. These would be initial areas to inspect.
Typically when speaking into the CTG microphones during a teleconference nothing will be heard from the local speakers which is normal as the sound is being sent to the distant end.
